Edmund and Sasha celebrated their union at the beautiful JW Marriott hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The JW Marriott Hotel wedding is simply a beautiful choice of venue as it is situated at Kuala Lumpur’s famous Jalan Bukit Bintang where the city most high end retailers and shopping malls are mostly present. The wedding started early in the morning as the day was packed with much activities and ceremonies. We must say that we love the groom and groomsmen portrait session when we had time to roam around the streets of Kuala Lumpur. We captured the portraits just across the street from the JW Marriott Hotel outside of the Pavilion mall. We were lucky it was in the morning and there wasn’t any sign of any security guards around. Sometimes they would not allow such photography and we would be asked not to photographed but this time we were lucky indeed.

As usual, the chinese culture of having the groom and groomsmen go through some gruelling and fun bridal games before able to ‘pick up’ the bride and bring her back home. We must say that we never get bored capturing these moments, as it is always quite hilarious and full of surprises. As usual, the couple join their union with the traditional tea ceremony which is a sign of respect to their parents and family. During the night banquet, the grand ballroom at JW Marriott Hotel was beautifully decorated and it was indeed a grand wedding party. We love that both sides of the family can gather and have a celebration dressed up in such a lovely venue.
