When it comes to beach wedding, there is no doubt that Langkawi has one of the best beaches in peninsula Malaysia. What more a private beach in The Ritz Carlton, Langkawi ! We have been to this property many times before and have covered a few weddings here (Check out our previous work at The Ritz Carlton, Langawi here.) However, we have never covered a beach wedding here at The Ritz Carlton, Langkawi until now!

Langkawi is a popular destination for weddings, and many couples would choose this location as a destination wedding location. Langkawi is easily accessible by plane from Kuala Lumpur. We must say that Langkawi is an island which begs to be explored with its beautiful beaches and insanely gorgeous sunsets.

When Jamie & Adeline contacted us about the wedding at Langkawi, we were really excited to be returning to this place! We were even more ecstatic to hear that it would be a beach wedding when we asked about the location.

We met the old-fashioned way – on a dating app called OkCupid ?

16^th of April is a date of significance because that is when we had our first date, when we got engaged, when we officially signed our marriage papers and when we are getting married again in front of family and friends ?

On our first date (16 April 2017), we met in the morning then went to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. That meeting ended up lasting the whole day, and the rest as they say, is history.

• Adeline’s first impression: Jamie was a bit shy, but friendly. We talked about a lot of things and conversation was easy even though it was our first meeting.
• Jamie’s first impression: I thought she was very nice, pretty and very easy to talk to, even though it took me a little while to tune in to her accent.
